Aquarels kunst

Welkom op mijn website, hier toon ik enkele werken van mij. Sinds 2004 maak ik aquarels van mensen, daarvoor tekende ik mensen dat kan je hier zien. Naar mijn mening is een aquarel de meest moeilijk vorm van schilderen. Als je een aquarel ziet sta je er niet bij stil, maar het zijn allemaal transparante lagen. In een goede aquarel horen geen potloodlijnen te zitten, daar is niet in getekend de kunstenaar tekent met zijn penseel, maar kan niets gummen. Eenmaal gekleurd blijft gekleurd. Het water karakter van deze verf en het snel drogen en ook het opweken (bloeden) maakt het zeer complex.

Overigens geen van deze aquarels is te koop.
Dit verkoop ik enkel aan de modellen zelf.

Geschilderd in 2008 vrouwlijk naakt.

Een Aquarel geschilderd in 2008, deze keer een beetje meer gespeeld met de lichtval op het model.

Dit is in 2008 geschilderd, wel een kleurrijk schilderij hoofdzakelijk werk ik er met 4 kleuren, zwart, rood geel en wit. Op het gevaar dat het te bont wordt, toch doorgezet. Het geheel is zo niet alleen een krachtige pose ook een kleurkrachtig beeld dat geeft wat evenwicht aan elkaar.

2006 was ook een mooi jaar, nieuwe vriendschappen ontstonden en dat leverde weer nieuw werken op.

Dit is in 2005 geschilderd. Het is een vlotte aquarel van een mannelijk model welke in een paar lijnen snel en losjes is geschilderd.

Hmm als ik nog eens aquarels van modellen ga verkopen dan moet deze veel opleveren. Ik vindt 'm fantastisch, qua uitstraling doet het me denken aan muziek van de cure, a lost boy. Het valt me op dat ik steeds vaker me meer richt op de uitstraling van het model.

Een vrij grote aquarel, het detail in de aquarel en het gebruik van de aquareltechniek, maken van deze zittende man een mooie afbeelding. Let eens op het accent van de lijnen (dikte en kleur van de lijnen) in combinatie met de grote kleur vlakken. In eerste instantie lijkt het een beetje prominent maar het is toch vooral een mooi lijnen spel.

Een mannelijk model trekt hier z'n tshirt uit, later heb ik de gele kleur eromheen gemaakt. Het is alsof hij in de zon loopt, en het warm heeft. Hier zie je mooi hoe je in een Aquarel met licht kunt werken (licht is het wit van het papier), dat kan aan een aquarel een krachtig effect geven zoals hier dus.

Dit is is wel een mooi pose zo weergegeven in deze aquarel. Dit komt vooral door de uitstraling, en technisch door de manier van uitwerking van de rug en het haar. Dit schilderij is verwerkt in de achterkant van de muziek
CD REQUIEM van Magua. Daar is de aquarel echter wel digitaal bewerkt en staat er niet in deze rode kleur op.

Mijn allereerste aquarel naar model.
Het is een eenvoudig werkje, maar daardoor juist ook wel weer mooi. Naderhand had ik kramp in mijn vingers omdat er zo geconcentreerd bezig was geweest, tja aquarellen is anders dan tekenen.

Oil paintings

If you can paint, then oilpaint is an easy paint type.
It is more easy then waterpainting / aquarel. You can
always paint over your mistakes. Oh well oilpaint is different. The balance is very different compared to aquarel paint. Oil paint collors can be stronger, and you dont work with a transparant medium. Overall it also works quick. And it requires less planning before you make something. Besides pensils i use a pallet knife. This results in a different balance in material and tools resulting in new art works.

Charlotte a pretty realistic art work, the best portrait so far. Even i was a little bit surprised that i could make this. Now that i know it, i know i can make more, this painting was an important milestone for learning how to paint.
Its actually pretty good you can even slightly see the veins under the skin of her hand. Also the eyes are awesome. It took me a few weeks, but that's what it takes to create good paint work

Charlotte (to me a) model is learning the spanish language, she is very skilled in spanish, how better to expressively describe here by interweave her in the spanish flag. The color of the flag go into the here clothing as she has become one with the language, to me this describes her passion and her character.

Scenery of a winter landscape, in a nearby village called Onderdijk, there is ice on the canals and on the lake in behind. The trees are dominant here and used to be a place where people dumped their goods. In these times nature took over. The trees are made with a pallet knife

Painting about the harbor port of Enkhuizen. Again made with pallet knife, on some pencil lines. A pallet knife gives a nicely romantic effect. I also made it inwater-color before the same image. I just wanted to paint in oil and not think to much about what to paint so i took another older work of mine as subject.

Pastures around Wervershoof. the North-Holland country of water and wind, here you see how wind nowadays is used by wind mills, and how wind commonly was used in former days. Then it was used for drying the tulips-balls still some farmers here in the surroundings use wind this way their dry the tulip-balls.

An impression painting of a garden. The garden is in fact the garden of my parents. Here i used for the first time a pallet knife. The vivid collors look as work like van Gogh
The colors liveliness absorbs my imagination.

Self-portrait in oil painting. The idea is your looking at my imagination, it is not real, but my dreams create this reality. Since it is my fantasy and not the real world i dont show my eyes. In my imagination everything is possibly as you can see. The eye below is an old signature of me (for who recognized my old sketches. ). Oh btw i had light from above when i painted myself, the facial shadow is a bit strange but that explains it.. so i'm not an ocultist.

My first oil painting painting
Although the water was succes, well..you can see sand through the wate, and the scenery looks nice. It is not a great work, the horses have are not well done and people are a bit simple. Ohwell not bad for a first work. But you might notice how i improved my skills after this one.
